Kimberly A. Blanchette has previously directed the Halloween Walk for SOK. She holds a Bachelor's Degree and has performed as a television/live theater actress and comedianne. She is also currently a performance poet and published author. Her enthusiasm and drive is just waiting to be shared with the children/adults in her classes! Bill Collett is a professional DJ and karaoke guru, among other things. He is currently an SOK board member. Vivian Creekmore, M.S.W., is a Clinical Social Worker with a special interest in helping people develop new and better social skills. She has taught Smooth Moves to middle and high school students and Communication Skills in the Work Place, Assertion Training, Self-Esteem Development, and Stress Management to adults and young adults. Nicole Hilbelink is an English teacher at Craig High School in addition to being the coach of the forensics team. She has been involved with forensics and various forms of competitive public speaking for 15 years. Greg Roy is a native from Massachusetts who has been in the Midwest some 13 years. He was introduced to clowning in 2000 and has been doing it ever since. Besides "Paddy O'Furniture" Keystone Kop clown, he has performed in numerous area parades, enjoys hospital clowning ("Dr. Ima Quack"), and has performed as the European Mime clown - "Pierro" for Christian Clowning in the US and Mission fields in Belgium. As a member of Cousin Otto's Clown Alley of Delavan, he helped develop the successful "Clown Capers" show at UW-Rock County and wrote the curriculum for Clown Training. Kay Sparling is an international opera singer who most recently was acclaimed for singing for Mayor Giulianni's NYC rallies and state funerals following 9-11. She also teaches voice and acting at her conservatory in Fort Atkinson and at UW-Rock County where several of her students have achieved awards, scholarships, and professional apprenticeships. Kay currently resides in Whitewater. Elsie Van Tassell is actively involved with Janesville Little Theatre. She has previously worked on theatre productions and classes at Craig High School, Parker High School, Milton College, and UW-Rock County. Marie Wallace has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, is a mother of five and was last seen in the role of Maureen in HONK! She is very excited to be sharing her love of theater and her knowledge with children of all ages. Becky Weber-Johnson has taught a variety of classes and workshops at SOK, including Acting Up & Acting Out and our musical theatre workshop, School House Rock. She has acting, theatre, and story-telling experience with numerous theatre groups in the community. |
