Eager to get involved, but not quite sure how?  SpotLight On Kids & footlights productions is always looking for individuals to help make our operations run smoothly.  We are a 100% volunteer organization, so volunteer your time and help us run the show!

Click here for a volunteer form.  Please mail your completed form to SOK or drop it off at our studio.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Technical or design work on our productions (stage managing, sewing costumes, building sets, painting backdrops, finding props)

• Office work (making copies, answering phones, organizing items)

• Marketing (selling tickets, distributing posters and fliers, making displays)

• Mentoring in our classes and workshops (co-teaching or being a leader)

• Front of house (ushering, selling merchandise/concessions, handing out programs, tearing tickets)

• Sharing your talents in a production (playing in the orchestra, choreographing, acting, singing)

Spread-Our-SpotLight

SOK & footlights count on those who’ve been involved to spread the word about upcoming events, classes, productions, and FUNdraisers.  Our SpotLight can only reach as far as YOU shine it!  Help us Spread-Our-SpotLight with our new “S-O-S!” philosophy by getting others YOU know involved and informed.  The more people we reach, the more successful SOK & footlights will become.  You CAN make a difference!  Here are simple ways you can help double our efforts:

• forward the e-CALLBOARD to your contacts
• post upcoming SOK & footlights events on your MySpace page  
• promote a production by putting up a poster in your locker or at your work                  
• bring a family member to audition for a production with you
• sign up for a class or workshop with a friend
• link our website to yours – www.spotlightonkids.org
• attend a FUNdraiser with your classmate or co-worker                         
• pick up extra SOK fliers (TAKE 2 – keep 1 and share 1)
• increase your support by asking your place of work to match your donation
• Join Upcoming.org (see what's going on in the area and email events your friends)
• Send an e-vite to a show or event with www.e-vites.com.
